Laughers, get the scoop on this unique annual chip-timed 5K and 1K Fun Run for kids on the taxiway and runway that promises to be an exciting experience for the whole family! All proceeds benefit the incredible Explore More Discovery Museum, a non-profit that offers an aviation exhibit where children will learn about the many aspects of aviation including hands-on experience as a pilot, aircraft mechanic, air traffic controller and passenger. This event welcomes participants of all abilities and fitness levels, even allowing strollers and wheelchairs.
Discover the origin story of this event and its impact over the years. Get behind the scenes into the logistics of putting together a race on an active airport runway. Learn about the hands-on displays and engaging stations for aspiring aviators and technicians.
